Power Outage Near Genesee Hits Handful of Customers
The outage began in the early morning hours and power is not expected to be restored until the afternoon.

A very small power outage affected a handful of customers in the Torrey Pines and University areas early Saturday before power was restored.
The lengthy outage northeast of Genesee Avenue and Eastgate Mall began just before 1 a.m. and power wasn't expected to be restored until nearly 2 p.m., according to San Diego Gas & Electric. By 3 p.m. SDG&E's website no longer showed any outages in the region.
Six customers are affected, the utility estimates, while saying a number of factors contributed to the outage.
