La Jolla: Survey Data Is More Than A Numbers Game – Your Opinion Guides The Future Of The Village
We are now in the midst of gathering surveys from locals, visitors, tourists and residents to better steer La Jolla forward.

In 2019 LJVMA commissioned San Diego State University to develop a survey tool and subsequent marketing plan that has offered critical and unbiased information to guide a variety of La Jolla Community Groups including City Council District One, Town Council, Community Planning Group and of course the La Jolla Village Merchants Association.

At the time, it was recommended that the survey be redistributed every two years to make sure information is current and valid. It is not necessary to resurvey the same people — rather it is imporant that we attract a statistically valid pool of respondents. It is a big task, but together we can get the job done!
