CALIFORNIA – We know what candy Californians are craving this Christmas. Reese's Cup Minis are the most popular candy at Christmastime in the Golden State, according to the Candy Store.
U.S. consumers are expected to spend more than $2 billion on candy for the holidays, according to the online candy store. Californians aren't the only ones who love and purchase the chocolate and peanut butter candy. Reese's Cup Minis rank as the most popular candy in 10 states, according to the Candy Store.
As for California, peppermint bark is the second-most popular in the state, followed by Hershey's Kisses.

The Candy Store surveyed more than 30,000 customers. The store also checked in with major candy manufacturers and distributors to be sure the survey corresponded with their seasonal observations.

In a related study, the Candy Store also surveyed 13,000 customers to determine the worst Christmas candy. Believe it or not, peppermint candy canes almost cracked the top 10 worst Christmas candies, ranking 11th.

- Peppermint Bark
- Chocolate-Covered Cherry Cordials

- White Peppermint M&Ms
- Candy Canes – Non-Peppermint

- Old-Fashioned Hard Candy Mix
