U.S. consumers are expected to spend $2.6 billion on Halloween candy, according to the online candy store. Californians aren't the only ones who love the rainbow-colored candy. In fact, Skittles came in as the top Halloween candy in the country, according to the Candy Store's sales data from the past 11 years.

M&M's are the second-most popular in the state, followed by assorted salt water taffy.
