Nature Spectacle: Waterspout Touches Down In La Jolla
The rare event was captured on video.
LA JOLLA, CA - Lifeguards reported spotting a waterspout off Black's Beach Tuesday evening -- a waterspout that even made contact with land, touching down as a weak tornado before dissipating, according to news reports.
Locals, beach visitors and lifeguards were taken aback by this rare spectacle of nature, according to 10News – ABC San Diego KGTV.
