Sales Strong at New BJs in La Jolla
The national chain known for its deep dish pizza opened a new restaurant in La Jolla.
La Jolla now has deep-dish pizza. BJs opened a new restaurant this month in La Jolla.
The national chain known for its deep dish pizza opened the location on Villa La Jolla Drive Oct. 3, the company announced in a press release.
The restaurant features a 1,000-square foot patio and serves the deep-dish pizza, award-winning brews and its famous Pizookie dessert, which features a warm cookie with ice cream.

“We are excited to bring the most current evolution of the BJ’s concept to our many loyal La Jolla fans with the opening of our new, full size BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse,” says Greg Trojan, president and CEO.
The location, which is the 63rd in California, is reporting strong sales, Trojan said.
