1 Dead In Crash East Of Lake Elsinore
The person died at the crash scene Monday afternoon; another person was injured.
MEADOWBROOK, CA — One motorist was killed and another was injured Monday in a two-car crash in Meadowbrook
The collision happened about 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 74 and Hammack Avenue, just east of Lake Elsinore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said that a Lexus sedan and Chevrolet Volt crashed at the location.

Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived within 10 minutes and pronounced one driver dead at the scene. The other motorist suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.
The intersection was partially blocked, but the highway remained open, according to the CHP.
