15 Homeless People Arrested By Lake Elsinore Deputies

LAKE ELSINORE, CA โ A "a zero tolerance/quality of life" operation conducted Tuesday by sheriff's deputies in the cities of Lake Elsinore and Wildomar resulted in 15 arrests, it was announced.
The mostly homeless people were arrested for "various crimes related to quality of life," the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station reported.
During the operation that was done in collaboration with the city's code enforcement, deputies targeted spots "frequently described as 'problem areas' throughout the cities of Lake Elsinore and Wildomar," according to the station.

In total, deputies spoke to 25 people during the operation that began at 7 a.m. In addition to the 15 arrests, four people agreed to receive assistance, the station said.
The arrestees "have had, and will continue to have, access to resources which will assist them in ending their endless cycle of homelessness," according to the station.
