2 Injured In Lake Elsinore Crash

LAKE ELSINORE, CA -- Two people were injured early Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore. The incident was reported at 6:36 a.m. on Highway 74 at Riverside Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Arriving firefighters found two cars had crashed, causing major damage and leaving one occupant trapped, officials said.

The trapped passenger was extricated, but two patients were injured —one with major injuries. That patient was transported to a nearby hospital, while the patient with minor injuries declined further treatment.
