37 Arrested During Riverside County Gang Sweep
The operation focused on areas of recent gang activity and areas where known gang members reside, according to the sheriff's department.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA โ A law enforcement operation targeting gang activity netted 37 arrests Friday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
During the operation, several search warrants connected to an ongoing gang investigation were served in the cities of Perris, Riverside and Hemet.
"The operation focused on areas in which there has been recent gang activity and areas where known gang members reside," according to the sheriff's department. "A total of 37 people were arrested for various charges to include narcotics, weapons charges, parole violations, probation violations, and outstanding warrants."

The operation was conducted by the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 Perris/Lake Elsinore, which had assistance from Regional Gang Task Force teams out of the Coachella Valley, Corona, Murrieta/Temecula, Banning/Beaumont, and Hemet, as well as the Perris Special Enforcement Team, the Moreno Valley Special Enforcement Team, and the Street Racing Task Force.
