80 People Arrested In Lake Elsinore, Wildomar Homeless Sweep
The operation was conducted in Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Lakeland Village, Temescal Canyon, and Warm Springs.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA โ A monthlong "zero-tolerance/quality-of-life operation and homeless outreach" that focused on "problem areas" in and around Lake Elsinore and Wildomar resulted in 80 arrests, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Wednesday.
The 80 arrests included 59 misdemeanors and 21 felonies, according to the department.
The arrestees were given resources to "assist them in ending their endless cycle of homelessness," and 47 people accepted services, the department said.

During the operation, 15 tons of rubbish were removed from the community, with an additional 3 tons hauled away by property owners, according to the department.
The operation was conducted in Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, Lakeland Village, Temescal Canyon, and Warm Springs.

In addition to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station's Special Enforcement Team, Lake Elsinore Code Enforcement, County of Riverside West County Code Enforcement, and the Social Work Action Group were involved in the operation.
