Box Truck Crashes Near Corona, Motorist Hospitalized

A box truck veered off a roadway south of Corona on Wednesday,leaving a motorist hospitalized.

The solo-vehicle crash was reported about 6:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of Temescal Canyon Road, just north of Interstate 15, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

First responders encountered a box truck that went over an embankment.

One motorist was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital.

The extent of that person's injuries was unclear, and authorities did not say if additional people were in the vehicle.
