3 Winning Powerball Tickets for $1.5 Billion Sold, One in Chino Hills, CA
Lottery officials are reporting at least one jackpot winner in the Wednesday, Jan. 13, jackpot drawing.
At least one winning ticket was sold in Wednesdayโs world-record $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot drawing, California lottery officials confirmed. Another winning ticket was sold in Tennessee and another in Florida.
The Calfornia ticket was sold in Chino Hills, at a 7-Eleven store, located at 4092 Chino Hills Parkway. The city of Chino Hills is located in San Bernardino County, about 30 miles east of Los Angeles. According to U.S. Census Bureau, the median household income is $96,497.
At Powerball draw time, the estimated value of the jackpot had climbed to $1,586,400,000. If no one wins in any other states, then the Chino Hills winner will get the full prize (after taxes, of course).
