NUEVO, CA - A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Nuevo early Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake struck 11 kilometers NNE of Nuevo around 6:01 a.m.
According to the USGS, the earthquake was centered:
- 11km (7mi) NNE of Nuevo, California
- 11km (7mi) ESE of Moreno Valley, California
- 12km (7mi) SSW of Calimesa, California
- 26km (16mi) ESE of Riverside, California
- 31km (19mi) SSE of San Bernardino, California
- 55km (34mi) W of Palm Springs, California
Several residents in the area reported feeling the quake via the โDid You Feel Itโ app with the impact ranging from weak to light.
