Earthquakes Rattle Riverside County On Halloween
The earthquakes hit early Thursday morning. Did YOU feel them?
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Two earthquakes hit Lake Elsinore early Halloween morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quakes, a magnitude 2.9 earthquake and a magnitude 3.0, struck simultaneously and were followed by at least one small aftershock. The temblors were reported at 2:44 a.m.

The quakes were felt across Riverside County far away as Los Angeles. No injuries were reported as a result of Thursday’s quakes.
