Elsinore High School Break-In: Suspect Arrested
This week the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Ryan Spencer's arrest following an investigation into the alleged break-in.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA โ A man suspected of burglarizing Elsinore High School was released from custody two days after his arrest.
Jail records show Ryan Spencer, 19, of Lake Elsinore was taken into custody at 12:03 p.m. Feb. 8 near Shores Acres Mobile Home Park at 15682 Grand Avenue on the northwest edge of the lake. He was booked on suspicion of burglary and outstanding warrants but released Feb. 10 with no bail posted, the records show.
On Feb. 15, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced Spencer's arrest following an investigation into the alleged break-in at the high school on Canyon Drive.

Around 10:27 a.m. Feb. 5, deputies were called to the campus regarding a burglary.
"School officials had found a subject entered a classroom in the early morning hours on February 4, 2021. Several items were taken from the classroom and items were also damaged," according to a report from sheriff's Sgt. R. Thomas.

Leads in the case led to Spencer and the stolen property, according to Thomas.
The property was returned to the school, the sergeant said.
No court date has been set for Spencer.
