Firefighters Free Person Trapped After Crash on Railroad Canyon Road

The Sunday-afternoon crash was reported just before 3 p.m.

One person was hospitalized with major injuries after becoming trapped under a vehicle following a crash on Railroad Canyon Road Sunday afternoon, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The crash was reported at 2:51 p.m. and closed traffic on Railroad Canyon near Lambs Fellowship church. Firefighters were able to extract the injured person from the vehicle, which was 50 feet over the side of the roadway, according to the fire department.

Railroad Canyon Road is expected to be closed through Sunday evening.
