Lake Elsinore Woman Suspected Of Fentanyl Sales
Laura Villa of Lake Elsinore and Scott Allen Whalin of Hemet were taken into custody at a hotel on Town Center Drive in Menifee.

MENIFEE, CA โ A Lake Elsinore woman and a Hemet man were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of selling narcotics, including fentanyl, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced.
Laura Villa, 31, and Scott Allen Whalin, 30, were taken into custody at 3 p.m. at a hotel in the 30000 block of Town Center Drive in Menifee.
In addition to drug possession and sales, the duo was booked on suspicion of weapons charges and probation violation, according to jail records.

The suspects were in possession of two ounces of fentanyl, one and a half ounces of methamphetamine, M30 pills, Xanax pills, a large sum of U.S. currency, and a loaded firearm, along with additional items common with the sales of narcotics, according to the sheriff's department.
Villa and Whalin were being held at Southwest Detention Center.
