Lane Closures Planned On I-15, Railroad Canyon, Summerhill

The Lake Elsinore closures are part of the Interstate 15/Railroad Canyon Road interchange project.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Motorists can expect nightly intermittent lane closures this week in Lake Elsinore as part of the Interstate 15/Railroad Canyon Road interchange project.

The following closures are planned:

  • Lane closures on Summerhill Drive, Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Intermittent lane closures on northbound I-15 and the northbound I-15 off-ramp, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Intermittent lane closures along Summerhill Drive and Railroad Canyon Road on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The $31 million interchange project, which is designed to improve safety and reduce congestion in the area, is slated to wrap up in late 2022.
