Local Young Marine Retirement
Young Marines a National Youth organization retire three Young Marines.
Temecula Valley Young Marines is a an organization dedicated in building a better life style for today's youth. From community service to volunteer work to honoring our Military and Verterans. Through the years Temecula Valley Young Marines have had many young marines retire and go on to becoming exemplary adults. This year we have the three amazing Young Marines who retired June 2, 2018. These three Young Marines not only have been a big part of this organization but have gone above and beyond in their communities and schools. Congratulations Young Marines. We wish nothing but the best in your future and we thank you for all your service and dedication.
After seven years of faithful service in the Young Marines organization, Austin Oldham, a resident of Murrieta, CA is set to retire as a Young Marine Gunnery Sergeant. Throughout his career, YM/GySgt Oldham has earned 31 awards including Community Service for contributing over 300 hours to the surrounding areas, the Young Marine Staff award on a Division level for displaying excellence and fortitude, and also achieving the Commendation of Merit award for rising to meet and surpass the expectations of our leaders. YM/GySgt Oldham is a senior at Murrieta Mesa High School and has participated as a member of the band as well as their football team. He is determined to enlist in the Army after high school graduation. YM/Gunnery Sergeant Austin Oldham is set to graduate on June 15th, 2018.
After five years of faithful service in the Young Marines organization, Cameron Kendall, a resident of Lake Elsinore, CA is set to retire as a Young Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant. Throughout his career, YM/MGySgt Kendall has earned 42 awards including Community Service for contributing 527 hours to the surrounding areas, the Life Savings Third Degree award for assisting in the rescue of two dogs, and also achieving the Unit Young Marine of the Year award for going above and beyond the call for excellence. YM/MGySgt Kendall is a senior at Lake Elsinore High School and has participated in their Junior Airforce ROTC program earning the title of Cadet Captain. He has officially signed with the Navy Nuclear Program and will leave for training after high school graduation. YM/Master Gunnery Sergeant Cameron Kendall is set to graduate on June 5th, 2018.

After six years of faithful service in the Young Marines organization, Anna Saucedo, a resident of Temecula, CA is set to retire as a Young Marine Sergeant Major. Throughout her career, YM/SgtMaj Saucedo has earned 40 awards including Community Service for contributing 616 hours to the surrounding areas, the Presidential Volunteer Service award for maintaining an active role in society, and also achieving the Young Marine of the Year award on a Division level— a highly coveted position representing 1 of the 6 Divisions nationwide. YM/SgtMaj Saucedo is a senior at Temecula Valley High School and has participated in their cross country/track team and currently holds the position of National Honor Society President. She has been accepted to the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland and will attend the college following her high school graduation. YM/Sergeant Major Anna Saucedo is set to graduate on June 7th, 2018.
