There has been a rash of mailbox theft around our area, Wildomar/Lake Elsinore. We even caught the guy and he claimed the box he stole out of our mailbox was from his sister! Unbelievable! Numerous neighbors had the same fate, police cannot do anything. So we installed a locking mailbox, and had to modify it somewhat. Let the PO know, if they find the criminal, they can press charges..
