Menifee Man Found Shot To Death, Investigators Seek Leads

PERRIS, CA — The sheriff's department announced Monday it is seeking information from the public about the shooting death of a Menifee man.

Saul Jimenez Aguilar, 44, was found dead around 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 25000 block of Echo Valley Road, in the unincorporated area of Homeland, according to the sheriff's department. His body was discovered after deputies from the Perris Sheriff's Station responded to the area following the report of a shooting.

Investigators from the Central Homicide Unit and the Perris Sheriff's Station have taken over the investigation.

"The suspect(s) are still outstanding at this time," the sheriff's department reported Monday morning.
