LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Miguel’s Jr. announced it will open a new restaurant in Lake Elsinore next month.
The Mexican restaurant is opening in the Elsinore Central Marketplace at 18320 Collier Ave. The 2,400-square-foot eatery will offer a drive-thru as well as counter service and a dining room.
“Opening a restaurant in Lake Elsinore has been a goal for Miguel's Jr. for years,” said Javier Vasquez, president and CEO of Miguel’s Restaurant, who noted that the Lake Elsinore store is the company's 21st location. “We’re thrilled to unveil our new location and share my mother Mary’s delicious family recipes with the welcoming Lake Elsinore community.”

The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and will offer online ordering, third-party delivery options and online gift cards for purchase and redemption. The location will feature designated parking for online order pickup and third-party delivery.
To celebrate the new neighborhood, Miguel’s Jr. commissioned two original murals by local Southern California artist Dave Avanzino. Located on the restaurant’s exterior, the public art installations feature the Elsinore Mountains and the city’s namesake, Lake Elsinore, the largest freshwater lake in Southern California.

Longtime Miguel’s Jr. employee Juan Carlos Villagran will oversee the new restaurant as general manager, according to the company. Villagran began his career at Miguel’s Jr. in 2010 as a kitchen manager at the Murrieta restaurant.
"I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing within Miguel’s Jr.," Villagran said. "I look forward to training a team of future leaders at the Lake Elsinore restaurant while sharing our hospitality and cuisine with the local community."
