Officer, Good Samaritans Rescue Stray Dog on I-15 in Temecula Valley
CHP motorcycle officers were able to lease the dog and escorted it off of the Clinton Keith Road to safety.

Saturday just around 12:30 p.m., several motorist called 911 about a dog running in traffic lanes on southbound I-15 just south of Clinton Keith Road.
Two CHP motorcycle officers responded to the scene and were able to corral the dog on the right shoulder with the help of some motorists. A leash was placed on the loose dog. The officers escorted the dog off of the Clinton Keith Road off ramp.

Animal Friends of the Valley was contacted to take the dog, and three days later they were able to locate the owners.
If you do see an animal or debris in the roadway, CHP encourages motorists to call 911 to report it.
