Operation Prom Girl at Elks’s Club on March 24

Locally-Based Non- Profit Organization Joins Hands With Community To Help High School Girls With Hardships with GREAT GATSBY Themed Event

Operation Prom Girl SoCal’s free event for high school girls is quickly approaching! Our 2018 event theme is The GREAT GATSBY (Roaring 20’s theme) and will be held on March 24 at the Elks Club, Wildomar, with doors opening at 10am. We have a magnificent day planned for registered , qualified young ladies who are in need of assistance to help them to attend their prom. Operation Prom Girl SoCal is a 501c3 non- profit organization that provides not only free prom dresses, formal gowns, but much more to females who have financial hardships or special circumstances that make it difficult to attend their formal event or special occasion.

Established in the Inland Empire, Southern California, Operation Prom Girl SoCal quickly became a means for these girls who fit the criteria to obtain a dress and other assistance to attend their special prom day. Our annual event this year will feature powerful speakers including Amy Martinez, a vision board and makeup workshop, a luncheon , prizes, goody bags, a prom gown, shoes, and more.

Operation Prom Girl SoCal continues to grow rapidly and also has served military women and special needs programs. We also offer resources and referrals to assist women of all ages to walk bold and triumphantly in their roles as beautiful women who can be successful in their roles despite any challenges that they may have experienced.

The mission of our program is much more than just a dress-it is a beautiful experience. As the need grows, we continue to partner with an eager and supportive community as well as organizations whose focus is on women being successful and living to their fullest capacity in mind, body, spirit, and life/career. Most recently, we collaborated with the amazing Kristi Allen , Director of Hope’s Community Closet, a non- profit organization in Temecula. Hope’s Community Closet graciously donated over 600 dresses to our outreach program.

As we continue to establish our roots, we realize the need for our outreaches services in areas beyond the Riverside County area and our vision is to grow so that we leave no woman of any age lacking our many services. We are seeking solid, joyful volunteers with willing hearts as well as internship opportunities. We operate solely on volunteer and community support and collect dresses, fancy shoes, accessories, and makeup year-round and have drop- off locations for donations. Donations to this non-profit are completely tax deductible and graciously received! We are also seeking volunteers!
