Overturned Cement Truck Jams Traffic On I-15 South Near Murrieta

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — An overturned cement truck on southbound Interstate 15 near the Wildomar-Murrieta border prompted a SigAlert Friday morning.

The crash was reported around 7 a.m. about a half-mile south of the Clinton Keith Road exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The SigAlert was issued at 7:33 a.m., and as of 8:40 a.m. it appeared the #2 and #3 lanes remained closed.

The truck's mixer was loaded with about 10 yards of cement, according to the CHP.

There were no reported injuries and a fuel leak from the vehicle was stopped.

Traffic remains jammed through Wildomar.
