Rowland Heights Woman Killed In Lake Elsinore Crash
The wife of the driver died in the Sunday-morning crash in Lake Elsinore.
A woman from Rowland Heights was killed Sunday when a car driven by her husband veered off Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore and rolled over.
California Highway Patrol officers were dispatched at 3:36 a.m. to the northbound lanes of the freeway approaching Nichols Road.
Humberto Turingan, 72, of Rowland Heights, had allowed his Lexus sedan to veer off the freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The car rolled several times onto the dirt center divider and landed on its roof. Turingan suffered major injuries but his wife, Cleopatra, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP.
Humberto Turingan was taken to Inland Valley Hospital for treatment.
