Robbery Call Triggers Search In Downtown Lake Elsinore

A search for suspect(s) wanted in connection with a robbery alarm triggered in the 100 block of W. Graham Street in Lake Elsinore resulted in heavy police activity Tuesday.

An investigation continues and it's unclear if any suspects are in custody.

One victim was transported to an area hospital, although the extent of injuries is unknown, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Deputy Albert Martinez.

The call came in sometime around noon and involved officers in marked and unmarked vehicles, as well as a sheriff's helicopter.
