Sigalert Issued On I-215 At Clinton Keith Road In Murrieta

MURRIETA, CA — A multi-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday on southbound Interstate 215 at Clinton Keith Road in Murrieta delayed traffic in the area for several hours as the California Highway Patrol investigated the incident.

The wreck was reported shortly after 3 p.m., according to the CHP. The #1 and #2 lanes were blocked in both directions of the freeway and the CHP reported at 3:23 p.m. that a Sigalert was being issued for at least an hour.

At 4:01 p.m., the CHP reported all northbound lanes were cleared, and at 5 p.m. southbound lanes were open.

The extent of injuries among crash victims was unknown.

Preliminary reports indicate four vehicles were involved. Photos from the scene show at an SUV-type vehicle and a pickup truck were involved. The truck was overturned.
