Temecula Watermain Break

On august 7, 2019 at approximately 11:09 am a watermain break occured on Hupp drive & Linalou Ranch Road in Temecula.

CalFire Riverside was dispatched to the area in reference to a possible watermain break.

Units arrived shortly after and noticed a broken watermain in the middle of the street with water shooting out of it. Several pieces of black top asphalt were launched into the air and struck a near by home causing damage to the windows and flooding to the house.

This broken watermain caused a sink hole in the middle of the street.

Rancho Water district workers responded to the scene to drain the water from the sink hole and perform repairs to the street.

The residence were evacuated from the house. No injuries to anyone in the house.
