Victim Extricated After Car Crashes Down Lake Elsinore Embankment

LAKE ELSINORE, CA -- One person suffered moderate injuries Monday morning after a car crashed down a Lake Elsinore embankment. The incident was reported at 9:33 a.m. on southbound Interstate 15, just south of Lake Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Fire officials said the patient was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance.
