Wildomar's Holiday Lights Contest Underway

WILDOMAR, CA — Wildomar's annual Holiday Lights Contest has kicked off, and residents are invited to show off their decorating skills.

The contest will be judged in two categories: The “Traditional” entry is for the Martha Stewart's out there who want every bulb just so, while the “Clark Griswold” entry is for those who think bright bling is best.

Within each category, entries will be judged on:

•First Impression

•Design

•Originality

•Suitability to Site

•Environmental Elements (eco-friendly lighting, including recycling, energy conservation, etc.)

The City of Wildomar is providing two ways of entering the contest: an online application form on the city’s website here, or by filling out a flier (see below or on the city's website).

Entries will be accepted through 5 p.m. December 8.

Recognition and awarding of the contest will be announced through the city’s social media outlets and during a City Council meeting (the presentation is tentatively set for the December 16 meeting).
