Autism Night At Angels Stadium: Angels Vs. White Sox
A limited amount of tickets were still available Wednesday afternoon for Autism Night, with Los Angeles Angels against Chicago White Sox.

LAKE FOREST, CA — Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Angels held Autism Awareness Night in the game against the Chicago White Sox. A pregame ceremony honoring organizers and participants of the Dec. 3 Orange County Autism Speaks Walk at Angel Stadium was also on the schedule.
Discount tickets were available in an offer that includes a $5 donation for each ticket purchased to the Autism Speaks Southern California Chapter.

Autism Speaks has provided more than $1.3 million in family services and research grants and more than $110,000 to local service providers in Orange County, according to Larissa Kersetetter, a field development manager with Autism Speaks.
Autism Speaks, the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, provides free resources, grants and trained staff to assist people with autism and their families and support advocacy efforts and research, according to Jackie Acker, a public relations representative for Autism Speaks.

The organization also seeks to increase understanding and acceptance of people with autism worldwide, said Charles Volpe, chief of media strategy for Autism Speaks.
Autism spectrum disorder is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. About 1 in 68 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder, including 1 in 42 boys, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
