City Of Lake Forest: Baldwin & Sons To Begin Cleanup Of Soil Causing Odor

Portola Hills developer Portola & Sons announced Thursday that they will begin removing soil containing a natural organic material that has caused odors in the area.

Baldwin notified residents of the planned work in a letter to the area's homeowner associations. The work is expected to finish within four weeks.

Baldwin hired a consultant to monitor the work. The City also retained a consultant to review the plans and monitor the work.
