Health inspectors went to check out Indo Ranch after receiving a tip.

Health inspectors shut down an Indonesian restaurant in Lake Forest for a day earlier this month because of a cockroach infestation.

The Orange County Health Care Agency received a tip that Indo Ranch, 22722 Lambert St., was preparing food outside, and that cockroaches were seen in the area.

An inspector arrived June 6 and discovered “live and dead roaches behind the handsink, on the floor below the vacuum and on the floor under the bag of onions below the mop sink. Samples were taken,” according to an online report.
