Delta Flight Bound For John Wayne Airport Diverted To LAX
On Sunday, travelers headed to Orange County's John Wayne Airport were forced to land at LAX.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A flight headed to Orange County from Atlanta was forced to land early at Los Angeles International Airport.
Mechanical issues encountered during Delta Flight 439 forced the plane to land in Los Angeles at 11:40 a.m. at LAX, said LAX spokeswoman Olga Gallardo.
The flight left Atlanta at 10 a.m. with a scheduled 11:40 a.m. landing at John Wayne Airport, according to the Delta Airlines website, before it was diverted to LAX.

According to sources at the scene, there were 159 people aboard the plane and the mechanical issue was specifically hydraulic issues.
