Disney Avengers Campus Cast Members Model Marvelous New Uniforms

ANAHEIM, CA — What is not to love about both the look and the feeling of these new Marvel-themed uniforms for Disneyland workers?

The newest Disney California Adventure land, opening June 4, is set with a cast of "cast members" (as the resort refers to the troupe of workers) all tasked with carrying out the Avengers look and feel of the "Avengers Campus."

Senior Costume Designer Joe Kucharski discussed the clothing behind the workers who will carry out the overall feeling of entering the Avengers universe.

“Our cast members play a unique part in the guest experience,”Kucharski said. “These costumes are designed to help them embody their role in this epic story.”

Avengers Campus cast members assembled to show off their togs in front of the Disney California Adventure park attractions.

Each uniform is designed based upon the part of the Avengers universe they portray, from Spiderman to Dr. Strange, and all movies in between, according to Kucharski. The look and feel of each uniform design complete the scene for guests as they enter the new land.

Campus Representatives at WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and WEB Suppliers will wear pieces that feature modern, techy emblems and materials made of lightweight, breathable fabrics with stretch for movement and flexibility. They also fit with the world of Peter Parker and Aunt May and that of your friendly neighborhood Spiderman.

The staff of the Pym's Test Kitchen restaurant looks like, well, research scientists. Prepare to see small BIG things and big SMALL things on the menu that is surely like nothing we have ever tasted. Look for unique touches like a Pym pocket protector, lab coat, hat, and tie.

"This gives a nod to the growing and shrinking science used to create shareable bites and sweets at this location. These costumes feature a large “Pym Particle” on the hat and a much smaller pattern on the tie," they say.

The campus uniform includes cargo bottoms, a training shirt and a tactical-inspired vest that are comfortable, lightweight and breathable, especially for those warm summer months.

But, it is, of course, the Shawarma stand that many are looking forward to trying. Thanks to Tony Stark and his infamous line in "The Avengers" at the end of the film.

After getting back to Disneyland after the pandemic, couldn't we all go for some Shawarma?
