Driver Plows Into Sheriff's Cars on I-5 in Lake Forest
No major injuries are reported after a 65-year-old man hits a trio of parked patrol cars near Lake Forest Drive.

Three Orange County sheriff's patrol cars were damaged early today when a vehicle driven by a 65-year-old man crashed into the back of one of them while they were parked on the right shoulder of the northbound 5 Freeway in Lake Forest, authorities said.
No arrests were made after the incident, which happened north of Lake Forest Drive around 4:30 a.m., according to Orange County sheriff's Lt. Gary Strachan.
Deputies had been conducting an investigation at the site when the man's vehicle hit one of the patrol cars, Strachan said.

The man suffered a cut lip, Strachan said. No deputies were hurt.
