ANAHEIM, CA —Disneyland Resort is upgrading their Grand Californian Spa, with a little help from Walt Disney Imagineers. Inspired by the "spirit of nature" and a nod to the rich Californian heritage, this will be a full-service spa.

The Tenaya Stone Spa will be a place where modern-day travelers can seek respite to "dream and recharge. When you relax, you can regain balance with yourself, a spokesperson said. Tenaya can mean "to dream" in certain indigenous cultures, they added.

At Tenaya, visitors can expect body treatments, facials, massage, salon services all in a serene, relaxing setting far from the frenetic energy of the parks.

The spall will feature Craftsman style architecture, on-trend with the hotel, showing comfortable furnishings, a water feature in a natural stone waterfall style, along with a stained glass window depicting sunrise.

"The Tenaya Stone Spa will be a wonderful addition to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Guests can take time to unwind with head-to-toe pampering," they said.
