Lake Forest Power Pole Replacement Causes Traffic Nightmare

LAKE FOREST, CA — SoCal Edison made some changes in Lake Forest, and traffic suffered because of it, officials say.

"Edison is replacing an old transmission power pole on Bake Parkway at Jeronimo Road," a city of Lake Forest spokesperson said. The effects of that closure began affecting traffic as early as 10 a.m., according to the city.

Two right lanes of Bake Parkway are closed from Trabuco Road to Jeronimo Road.

Drivers should avoid this location today if possible.

That area should be back to normal traffic patterns by Thursday.
