Lake Forest Team Places In 'Winter Chiller' Tournament

The OCC Chargers Baseball 12U boys placed second in the USSSA Chiller Tournament, moving on to Cooperstown New York in the summer of 2019.

LAKE FOREST, CA — A Lake Forest baseball team brought home the second place trophy in USSSA Winter "Chiller" (Gold bracket), Patch was told.

The OCC Chargers Baseball Club finished last weekend's tournament with a 3-1 record, a spokesperson for the club said in a Lake Forest Patch News Post.

"Their only loss was in the Championship game," they said.

The team is comprised of young men, 11- to 12-years-old, from Lake Forest and Rancho Santa Margarita. The boys will move on to Cooperstown, New York later this summer.

The team is still looking for corporate support for their trip to Cooperstown, N.Y. this summer.
