Lake Forest's Haunted 'Scream In The Dark' Maze Will Terrify You

Enter if you dare... Lake Forest's spookiest haunted maze is up and running, with 2,000 square feet of terror. No one under 13 recommended.

LAKE FOREST, CA — There is still time to see the 2,000 square feet of gruesome ghouls, special effects, and live scare actors in Lake Forest. This maze is not for the faint of heart, and young children will be terrified, Patch has it on good authority.

The backyard of this Lake Forest home has been completely transformed, according to the homeowner. What started as a small front yard display 15 years ago has transformed into a "huge maze," she says. Construction on the project began in July. This year, the maze has a new configuration and more special effects than ever.

Expect to see creepy clowns, Japanese water ghosts, skeletal beings, and more. Flashing lights, fog and mist, and yes, complete and utter darkness. Who knows what lurks inside? Only the bravest will find out! Sorry, dear readers. Your Patch editor is not one of them.
