The Pet Adoption Center and Dream rescue are having a pet adoption event this Sunday from 12 to 3 pm at the PAC on 24331 Murilands. For more info go to www.dreamanimalrescue.org
Dream Rescue is helping adopt many of the Lake Forest cats and kittens who were part of the hoarding incident a few months ago in which more than 100 pets were rescued from appalling conditions. The latest update from the City shows
- 135 animals total
- 78 transferred to rescue
- 36 DOA or euthanized
- 18 adopted
- 3 sent to foster
Arraignment in this case is scheduled for Oct 19. The defendant is being charged with two misdemeanors and reparations are being sought to cover the costs.
