Scream In The Dark: Haunted House Opens In Lake Forest
You're in for a scream fest, Lake Forest residents. This year's Scream in the Dark Haunted Maze promises to be bigger and badder than ever.
LAKE FOREST, CA — On Friday the 13th, the Lake Forest Halloween favorite event "Scream in the Dark" opened for business, and will be open weekends until Halloween (see flyer attached for full details).
"That time opening night is here! For something spooky (and fun) to do on Friday the 13th (or many other nights before Halloween), check out the Scream in the Dark haunted house attraction," event organizers said.
Head just east of Muirlands Boulevard, between El Toro Road and Ridge Route Drive where a mere $5 gains entry into the scariest haunted house in the city. According to some of the monsters, that is. Over 1,600 square feet of terror, and 11 rooms to thrill and freak out those aged 13-years-old and up.

The many scary chambers in 1,600 square feet filled with animatronics characters, gruesome scenes, special effects, live scare actors, eerie music, special lighting, fog and much more.
Of course, opening night is Friday the 13th from 7:30-10 p.m.

The maze is located at Cavanaugh Manor at 22921 Cavanaugh Road in Lake Forest.
