Serrano Intermediate Career Day Speakers Wanted In Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, CA —Do you remember what it was like when you were little? People would ask you, "what do you want to be when you grow up?" Whether you answered a doctor, a lawyer, a teacher or an astronaut, chances are your career took a totally different turn once you went to college. Now is your chance to help shape the world of tomorrow, by teaching Lake Forest middle school kids what it really is like to do your job.

Serrano Intermediate is holding our 2019 Career Day on June 3, 2019, from 8:30-11:00 a.m., a spokesperson told Patch.

They need your help.

"We are in search of members of our community to come and share with our middle schoolers a little bit about what you do every day and the journey that brought you there," Science teacher Katie Branley told us. "Whether you are a doctor or a lawyer, a plumber or a chef we want you to give our kids a little insight into what life after school looks like."
