Star Wars Trading Post Arrives At Wonderground Gallery Overnight

Downtown Disney has brought the new Star Wars Trading Post in place of the fan art favorite Wonderground Gallery.

ANAHEIM, CA — WonderGround Gallery shifted from a fan-art gallery selling Disney inspired artworks to a new themed Star Wars™ Trading Post, overnight, Patch has learned.

The new Star Wars Trading Post features authentic products from Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. From creatures to lightsabers, Guests can prepare for an upcoming journey to Batuu with these fun items.

  • Adult & Youth Robes
  • Holocrons
  • Plush & Artisan Toys
  • And more!

You cannot build your own light saber or droid as of this time, those special experiences reserved for when Galaxy's Edge reopens.

For now, all original paintings, lithographs, sculptures and t-shirts bearing the likenesses of princesses, villains and beloved characters have been removed from the premises. What happened to the art from Wonderground Gallery? Much of the artworks were shipped to its counterpart in Florida, some artists disclosed to Patch. Other artwork was sold.

Still, Wonderground Gallery will return to Downtown Disney at a later date, a spokesperson said.

This is the first Disneyland Resort operated Star Wars shop at Downtown Disney. The Void, an independently run virtual reality attraction, has since closed.
