What's Next For Disney Vacation Club Members At Disneyland
A 350 room Disney Vacation Club time-share is moving ahead, that will be part of the Disneyland Hotel, officials say.

ANAHEIM, CA —Plans for a new 350-room Disney Vacation Club time-share tower was revealed to a nearby neighborhood this week. The addition will ultimately be part of the Disneyland Hotel.
At the Thursday unveiling, which took place at a virtual town hall presentation to neighborhood residents, renderings were shared of the 12-story, L shaped tower.
According to a report from Magic and Walnut via Twitter, the new DVC complex "will consist of one central 12 story tower, a separate, ground level pool area, adjacent to the hotel's Frontier Tower, which is slightly taller.

The hotel tower will be built in a "stair-step" fashion, to be less "visibly imposing on the neighborhood at its back, on Walnut Street. The lowest point of the tower will be five stories tall, according to the resort.
As of this report, the resort did not share a build-out timeline, but the project "is not on hold," according to Magic and Walnut.

Plans remain under review by the city of Anaheim, and no date for construction has been announced.
As of Friday, the Disneyland Resort properties, including two theme parks and three hotels, are shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"As with all projects, this proposed plan will go through a series of reviews as part of the project approval process with the city of Anaheim," according to Disney officials. "Right now, we are in the entitlement process with the city, which is a continuation of an application submitted back on November 22, 2019."
There is no timeline yet for when the project will begin construction or be completed. The plans are still under review by the city. Still, it was fascinating to learn the project has not been put on hold. pic.twitter.com/8xYfRPu3jZ
