4 Displaced By Garage Fire At Spring Valley Home
The American Red Cross was called in to help four adults arrange for temporary lodging.
SPRING VALLEY, CA — Four residents were displaced Tuesday morning when a fire sparked in the garage of a Spring Valley home, authorities said.
The blaze was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. at a single-story home on Eileen Street near Bigford Street, in a neighborhood east of Sweetwater Road, according to the San Miguel Fire & Rescue Department.
Crews attacked the flames and kept the fire contained to the home's garage, the department reported. A time of knockdown was not immediately available.
