There were 98 homes sold in La Mesa in May, up 48 percent compared to April sales, according to a Willis Allen Real Estate video report.

• 64 active listings, down 53 percent compared to last year, down 21 percent compared to April
• $572,400 median listing price, and $459,000 median sales price
• average 76 days on the market
• 45 units sold, compared to 30 in April

• 45 active listings, down 48 percent compared to May 2012, down 22 percent from April
• $365,900 median listing price, $397,000 median sales price
• 25 days on the market
• 53 units sold, compared to 36 in April
