Average La Mesa Area Gas Price Drops To Lowest Amount Since July

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The third consecutive decrease dropped the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County to its lowest amount since July 14 Wednesday.

The average price dropped two-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $3.149, two-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 3.5 cents lower than one month ago and 87.9 cents cheaper than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price decreased one-tenth of a cent on Tuesday and a half- cent on Monday. It has dropped 45.3 cents since the start of the year.

The average price has changed by two-tenths of a cent or less for seven of the past eight days.
